ForagerOne

ForagerOne is a resource database platform established in 2017 by a group of (then) Hopkins undergraduate researchers to help facilitate connections between Hopkins undergraduates and researchers across all areas and divisions of the Hopkins enterprise. Participation in research enables students to rigorously apply classroom learning at the cutting edge, develop subject matter expertise, and cultivate essential skills like problem solving to succeed in our increasingly complex and evolving world. On the flip side, students are an ideal talent pool for faculty to recruit contributors with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, especially for interdisciplinary projects. ForagerOne provides a streamlined workflow and levels the playing field for everyone. Since its adoption, ForagerOne has become a valued resource for undergraduates to find research opportunities and mentors and for university researchers to recruit students to participate in their research.
